Audrey left her car at home and walked to the Coffee Cafe. She rarely took her car out, she would rather walk places, her car was a present on her sixteenth birthday from her mother.
After the walk that seemed like forever, Audrey reached the Cafe. Since she walked there almost every day, you would think that the walk would seem to go by faster, and usually it did, but not today, today was different.
Audrey's plain black, long-sleeved shirt was covered by her favorite light weight jacket. A pair of black skinny jeans hugged her waist and she also had on a pair of black flats and a large tote bag was thrown over her right shoulder.
After slowly opening the door to the the coffee place, she stepped inside. Audrey approached the counter. One banana smoothie with fresh banana's please. She requested before she walked over to the cashier. She swiped the credit card her mother gave her, then took the smoothie from the guy and went over to her usual table. She sat down and took a sip of her drink. Audrey could easily spend a half hour in here with one smoothie, and she often did.
Audrey placed her drink on the table and placed her bag on the table also. Her right hand found its way to her left arm. Her fingers slide up her sleeve as she gently brushed the wounds that were somewhat healed. She couldn't stand herself right now and quickly removed her hand from her wrist. Audrey took a look around before taking another sip of her drink.

It was just one of those days. Bella walked out of her apartment and locked it up carefully. You just never knew who might be out and about these days - snooping through your things. So Bella dead-bolted the door and walked out to her convertible Mustang. She just hopped in and shoved the keys into the ignition. And Bella knew the exact place to go.
Considering as this was not one of the best days in her life, she needed some kind of beverage. The coffee cafe would be simply perfect. So it was about a four, five minute drive. Bella parked and rolled up the top so nobody else could hop in. She got out, locked the door firmly, and headed inside.
It was cozy, which was why Bella liked it so much. She went to the counter, and leaned against it. "I think I want a mocha milkshake," she remarked to the girl who was working the register at the time. She received her drink in less than two minutes and handed the girl a five dollar bill. "Keep the change," she mumbled, and stood to find a table.
There was a girl sitting alone at a table. Looking around, Bella saw that there wasn't many people around. So she decided to sit with the girl. Bella walked over there hesitantly, not sure if this was somebody she could trust. But nonetheless, she wanted a seat. "Do you, um, mind if I sit here?" Bella asked politely.

Audrey saw a few people come in and go out. After buying their drinks some people would find a seat and others would leave. Every few minutes or so, Audrey would take a sip of her smoothie.
Audreys hand found its way to her wrist again as she though about what she did to herself. She was soon brought out of her 'out of it' phase when a girl spoke to her and she removed her hand from her wrist.
After looking at the seat at the other side of the table she was sitting at she said to the girl. Umm sure. She then picked up her smoothie drank some more of her smoothie. She looked at the girl and then around the cafe.

Bella smiled gratefully and slid into the seat across from the girl. She took the straw to her milkshake and began to stir it mindlessly. Why did she ask to sit with this girl again? She had no idea. Maybe perhaps that this girl was sitting alone... well, whatever the reason had been, she was sitting here now. And Bella would have to deal with it. So would this girl who was gracious enough let her sit here.
"My name's Bella," she finally said. "Bella Greene." There was no way of knowing if it was safe to be giving out her name in such a free manner, but hey, it was polite. Well, either way, it was nice... Not that being nice was exactly relevant anymore. Not here, not with the killers roaming around. "Yours?" she questioned with a small smile.

Audrey moved around in her seat untill she was sitting more comfortably. She crossed her legs under the table before placing her drink on the table. There was moisture on the outside of the smoothie and it was cold. She rubbed her cold, slightly wet hands on her jeans at her thighs in attempt to dry them.
After the girl spoke, Audrey looked up at her. Audrey Summers. She said to the girl, Bella. Audrey's black hair fell in her face and she brought her hand up to move it away. Audrey didn't know why she was even talking to this girl, she didn't know her. And she also wondered why this girl was talking to her and telling Audrey her name, especially with the people who ruined her life running around, who knows where.

Bella caught the confused, exasperated tone in the girl Audrey's voice. It was quite understandable. Here she was, a complete and total stranger, giving out her name and asking for a name in return. With everything happening, it was hard to trust someone this easily. So she let out a small sigh and took a lagre sip from her milkshake, trying to think of what she could possibly say.
"I know this is a little wierd," Bella finally got out. It seemed like the most logical thing to say in this situation, so she was going with it. She glanced at Audrey quickly, taking in only vague details about her. "I don't normally talk this way with people... you know, I'll move or something if you want me to." Bella herself was starting to get a little uncomfortable, and she shifted her weight uneasily.

Audrey usually didn't have a problem with the chairs in the cafe, but today, for some reason, she get herself comfortable. She thought it would be a little strange to re-position herself again, so she tried to keep still.
When the girl spoke again, Audrey looked over at her. No, you don't have to. Audrey said before taking a sip of her drink. It's okay for you to sit here and I'm sorry if I made it seem as if I didn't want you to. Sometimes it may seem as if she hates someone and someone may think that she doesn't want them around, but that was just the way she was and she couldn't help it. Audrey watched as the girl moved around in her seat as if she were uncomfortable being there.

Bella smirked and carefully observed Audrey for a few seconds. They seemed like eternity, but she was sure this girl was somewhat trustworthy. She took a sip on her milkshake, savoring the roasty coffee flavor. At least Audrey was polite enough to invite her to stay. Well, not really invited, but offered. So she only smiled slightly in Audrey's direction with another swig of her mocha milkshake.
"Thanks," Bella then said. It was true - she was thankful that she didn't have to go back to her lonely apartment just yet... well, there was always the possibility of calling Lexa. But still, Bella wanted to find someone else to talk to. Not that Lexa wasn't a great friend. I'm just confusing myself, she thought grudgingly. "So are you new to town, or have you been here a while?" she asked. Another awkward, strange, open question.

Audrey played with her hair that was resting on her shoulders. It was down and strightened. When her hair was straightened it somehow seemed darker, how that was possible when her hair is already black is unknown to her.
Mmm Hmm Audrey said, more like mummbled before taking another drink from her banana smoothie.
Audrey looked over at Bella when she spoke to her. She thought about the question she was asked, not thinking about the answer, which she instantly knew, but the fact that she had lived here all of her life and has not once come in contact with Bella before. Oh, I've lived here for my whole life. Audrey stated. What about you? I've never seen you before. She added, not remembering ever seeing this girl before, but that wasn't much of a shock since she didn't socialize very much.

Bella tucked some of her dark brown hair behind her ear to keep it out of her face. She listened to Audrey's answer, curious and interested. Taking a sip from her milkshake again, she cringed as Audrey asked the question. She typically didn't talk about where she came from to complete strangers, but Audrey seemed nice enough. But was that really... well, enough to tell at least where she came from. Not why she came here.
So she only sat back in her seat, a little more comfortable. Her expression went a little dark, but it couldn't be helped. Bella didn't like talking about this sort of thing. Not even with Lexa. "I'm not from here. I came just a while ago... about a year or two before now," she said cautiously, looking at Audrey carefully as she said it.

Audrey listened to what Bella said. Oh so you pretty new here. That's probably why I haven't seen you before. Audrey said. A person is new in town for like five years in my eyes. Audrey added. It wasn't really necessary for her to say the last part, but for some reason she did anyway. Audrey didn't bother asking Bella where she lived before because that was too much of a personal question for Audrey, but if Bella wanted to tell her, she wouldn't say anything about it.
After a moment of not really paying attention to around her, she placed her hand on the sleeve of her jacket. She zoned out and didn't realize that she was doing that. Then she removed her hand and took a drink from her smoothie trying to forget about that.

Bella chuckled and stirred her smoothie around absentmindedly. This Audrey girl was slightly amusing. But Bella kept that thought quiet, and observed her for a moment or two. She suddenly seemed distant, and the teen could tell Audrey was no longer paying attention. Cautious and curiously, she watched as Audrey put a hand on her jacket sleeve. Leaning back, Bella narrowed her eyes as Audrey shook her head and took another sip of her smoothie.
"Something to hide or anything?" Bella asked, nodding towards Audrey's arm tht the girl had touched. "Not that I'm being nosy," she then added quickly. That was all she needed, people not liking her because they thought she was being nosy. If certain people believed she was too nosy, such as the killers that were plaguiing this town, Bella might not live to see the next day.

Audrey hated when her mind drifted off and it seemed as if she was in another world. When this happens, Audrey doesn't pay attention to her surroundings and her gut guilts her into seeing the damage she does to herself. She subconsciously makes herself fell the area where she harms herself in hope that she can scare herself into stopping, but that never works.
When Bella asked if Audrey had anything to hide and gestured towards her arms. Aurey looked at her jacket where she had her hand a minute ago. She said to Bella, Oh, I just have a habit of doing that. Audrey was telling the truth, she did have a habit of touching that area, but she wasn't going to tell this girl the whole truth. Not just because she just met the girl, but because she never told her secret to anyone, and to her knowlege, no one knew what she was hiding. [/blockquote]
