_________________three is a magic number]
The loud sound of the roaring engine was sent in tiny sound waves throughout the car. Lexa sighed a she twisted the wheel slightly to the right making the car move to that direction as well. Moving one foot off the gas pedal the other pushed down softly on the break. soon the car came to a halt, Lexa inside, eyes wide as she looked up at the old warehouse. Lex, you shouldn't go in. You've been told before not to. The teens conscious started fight and soon came to a decision. Oh what the hell, I'm going in. Leaning back against the leather seat Lex turned the car off and held her keys in one hand as she pulled the handle on the door upward and pushed the door out. The warehouse seemed to be on one of those empty streets, not thinking much of it, Lexa stepped up into the sidewalk and locked the car three times. Three was the magic number to lock a car. One click for each side, then one more to make sure.
Lexa sighed tilting her head letting her long blonde hair move down her shoulder. Nodding she turned around to face the building. Was it really haunted? Was having a haunted building possible? Really, or is it all a rumor? All questions Lexa hoped to be able to answer. Lexa started walking moving from the concrete to dirt. Her long, dark blue jeans scuffed across the ground along with her black flip flops. Coming to the closed door Lex reached for the large almost completely rusted handle. Gripping the warm metal she pulled open the door feeling a light gust of air. "Whoa." She whispered stepping inside. It was dark, thats all she could see. Take a few steps in the door remained open... the sunlight her only source of light. Taking a few more steps Lexa could feel a chill down her spin, if anyone was here, or was to come in... she'd surely scream.

Bella was in the neighborhood, taking one of her many walks around alone. She was walking on the sidewalk, keeping a sharp eye out for anything that was bad. Shoving her hands into her jean pockets, the teenager narrowed her eyes as she came out of an alleyway and into the open street. A familiar car was parked nearby, and Bella blinked in surprise. It was Lexa's. But what was she doing her, at the old, abandoned warehouse? A little confused, she approached awkwardly.
She pulled her hands out of her pockets and swept some of her dark brown hair behind her shoulder. Then Bella shivered, the door was slightly open. Maybe it really was haunted... but then what was Lexa's car doing here, no more than three yards from where she was standing? Then Bella narrowed her eyes, her hands clenching into fists. Maybe Lexa was in trouble. Why else would she be here?
Now Bella was both worried and angry. She grimaced and stomped off towards the open door. But before she entered, she stopped. Her hands unclenched, and a wave of worry powered over her. "L-Lexa?" she asked out. She opened the door even more and peeked in. "Are y-you in here? Y-You okay?"

____________my bundle of joy]
Lexa sighed in disappointment as she found that nothing supernatural was going on. "This isn't scary." She whispered to herself. Running a small hand through her hair she sigh putting her thumbs in the back pockets of her jeans. Looking around there was nothing but dirt, dust, rope, chain, and jars. Wow... how great was this place? Isn't that what is inside any haunted area? No! Lexa was convinced that there was nothing here, and another chill ran down her spin as she heard someones voice. She knew the voice immediately, it was Bella. Her bundle of joy. Spinning around Lexa faced the door and paused, listening to the worried tone of her friend.
"Bells? Come here... I'm fine." Lexa's voice came in a soft tone that wasn't yet a whisper, but close. It was so quiet in the warehouse, hard to believe it was haunted. Well was it haunted up stairs? Or at all? Lexa was sure it wasn't at all. Though how cool would it be is they did see something supernatural?

Bella sighed with unspoken relief at the sound of her friend's voice. It was nice to know that she wasn't hurt in the slightest - that nobody was in here holding her hostage. So she looked around at the dark warehouse and saw everything that Lexa saw. Dirt, dust, jars... broken items that might have once worked. But Bella wasn't sure. You could never be sure about these types of things, especially when the warehouse itself was old.
So she instantly went to her friend's side. Bella wasn't a big fan of the dark, but if Lexa was here, she was sure to make it through the day. "What're you doing here, Lexa?" Bella asked, somewhat confusedly. She put her hands into her black jacket pockets now, looking around again. "It's a little... dangerous to be here, right? You know it isn't safe in this part of town," she said softly. Bella looked at her friend worriedly, brown eyes sparkling in the darkness.

___________does it look like I care]
As Bella walked in Lexa's eyes continued to shift from place to place around the old building. Everything was so... not put together. You'd think goshtie would tidy up a little. Lexa rolled her eyes with a smile as Bella spoke. Shaking her head she looked toward the other girl. "Bella, calm down. I was bored and was thinking about this place. I wanted to see if it was really haunted." Lex's tone was soft for she didn't want to be to loud.
Lexa looked around and found the stairs. A smile spread across the teens face as she grabbed her friends arm with a light grip. "Oh! There's the stairs. Lets go up." Lexa spoke louder then before with a short squeal after. Tugging her friend toward the steps Lexa made her way to the spiral staircase. Her eyes widened as she started to climb up.

Bella sighed and shook her head at her friend's remark. 'I'm bored'. How many times had she heard that one before? Lexa used that excuse so often, Bella might have been able to recite it with her. Nonetheless, she was glad that Lexa was safe. But the fact that they were about to go up the stairs to the upper level of the haunted building... that scared Bella. Only slightly, but enough to make her NOT want to go up the stairs. But, Bella followed Lexa reluctantly anyway.
As they started to climb, Bella shuddered. "Oh, God. Here we go," she muttered as she followed Lexa's now dark figure on the stairs. "And we're sure you're not just going crazy?" she then asked of Lexa, somewhat playfully. But her voice was still soft. Bella's brown eyes widened as they went higher and higher, and she shivered. It felt too spooky around here for Bella's liking, that was for sure. But if Lexa was going up there, she wasn't about to just let her go up alone. Somebody had to be there if something bad happened.

____________boo, i scared you]
Lexa conntinued to climb the steps. It wasn't hard, they were placed so close together. As Bells spoke Lexa just shook her head. "If I was crazy, I'd be napping in the middle of the highway." This wasn't crazy. Stupid maybe, but not crazy. Lexa considered her actions adventurous, not crazy. As she went up the air seemed to be colder. Lexa took a deep breath as she neared the top.
Stepping up onto the wooden floor Lexa looked up and screamed. What did she scream at? Nothing. She smiled and looked back at Bella. "Were you scared?" She said playfully as she took a few steps forward. This was disappointing, there was nothing there. Well there was the same exacpt things as downstairs. Hm... what a rip off.

Bella followed slowly, her eyes flicking every which way. She rolled her eyes at Lexa's comment, and continued on. As they went up to the second floor, Bella saw that everything up here was the same as down below. Boring, she thought stubbornly. She turned away from Lexa for a second, looking behind them to see if anything was there.
Then she heard a scream. Immediately, panic rose into Bella's throat and she spun around. But Lexa was smiling in the darkness, and Bella tightly folded her arms across her chest. Her expression showed exasperation yet amusement. "Lexa!" she snapped with a small smile. "That was NOT funny, at all! And yes, you scared me!" Bella snorted in frustration and shook her head. "Honestly. With everything going on, you just go and give me a heart attack. Real nice, Lexa." But now she was smiling - you could tell she was joking now.

_________just for fun]
Lexa held her smile and rolled her eyes. "Whatever." whispered Lexa starting to walk around. She came to the banister and looked over the edge. Up was the third floor, below she could see, well, the first floor. Lexa turned around and kicked a wooden plank over and it scuffed across the floor not even a foot. "Well, I'm bored now." Bella shouldve know that was coming. This became a bore easily to Lex.
Lexa took a step forward, over the plank she'd kicked before. Lexa signed continuing to walk forward. Her eyes glanced around for any sign of entertainment. Nothing. Wonderful. As Lexa moved, her jeans scuffed across the floor making a ch ch ch ch ch sound. Lexa soon looked up and over toward Bella. "Wait. You said this was a bad part of town, that I shouldn't be here. Then why are you here?" The question was late, but it was there. Lexa had been told not to come here by... Jason, Bella (just now), other people. She was bored!

Bella sighed and pulled her jacket tighter around her. For a moment, she discarded Lexa's question. It was true - she had said that... and what she had said was true as well. It wasn't safe around here. But then Lexa had a point? What had she been doing around here? It wasn't smart to be hanging around here period. But hey, here they were, checking out some random warehouse to see if it was haunted. Very smart.
She shrugged and tucked her hands into her jacket pockets. "I honestly don't know," she finally answered. It was a great, logical answers in Bella's opinion. "Walking around, and I guess I ended up here. But other than that, I don't have an answer." Bella bit her lip, slightly embarrassed by her les than satisfactory reply. But it was true, and she didn't lie often. Bella almost always told the truth, depending on the situation. And this was a time when the truth was somewhat neccessary.
